Natasha Day - Soprano


Scottish-Polish soprano Natasha Day trained at the English National Opera on the ‘Opera Works’ course and completed her studies at the Royal College of Music’s International Opera School in 2015. Roles include Poppea Agrippina (English Touring Opera), First Lady The Magic Flute (Nevill Holt Opera), Mimi and Musetta La Boheme (Devon Opera, Celebrate Voice Festival) and Micaela Carmen (Winslow Hall Opera, Edinburgh Grand Opera). At the RCMIOS she sang First Lady, Le Feu/Le Rossignol L’Enfant et les Sortileges, Lisetta La Gazzetta, and Miss Wordsworth Albert Herring. Natasha won First Prize at the Złote Głosy Competition in Warsaw, Second Prize at The Filharmonia Czestochowska Competition also in Poland and The Most Promising Singer Award at the Emmy Destinn Competition in Prague. She was a Finalist in the 2016 Concorso Lirico di Ferrara, Italy.

Eleonor Penfold - Soprano


British Soprano Eleanor Penfold is currently studying at the Royal College of Music with Tim Evans-Jones on the Postgraduate vocal performance course, having completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Durham University. As well as enjoying competition success as the Vocal Finalist for the prestigious RCM Concerto Competition, Eleanor also took the roles of Yum-Yum (Mikado) and Michal (Saul) in the RCM opera scenes. Eleanor will be premiering the roles of Titania in PUCK and Morella in The Lullaby Experiments for the Great Exhibitionists series and looks forward to playing Giunia (Lucio Silla) in the RCM opera scenes this May.

Lauren Libaw - Soprano


Italian-American soprano Lauren Libaw has been praised for her sparkling, “bright-toned” voice (New York Times) as well as her “warmth of tone and intensity of expression” (The New Yorker). She will receive her Masters Degree from the Royal College of Music, London in 2016. She has sung at the Palais de Beaux Arts, Brussels, the Opéra Royal de Versailles, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Paris and in recital at London’s National Gallery and Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room. Raised in Pasadena, California, Lauren is a graduate of Yale University.

Fearghal Curtis - Tenor 


Fearghal is from Dublin, and has recently graduated with an MA from the Royal Academy of Music, London. Recent performances include the title role in Rameau’s Pygmalion, Orpheus in Orpheus and the Underworld and Chorus in Puccini’s Turandot. Operatic credits include Orpheus/Mercury in Orpheus and the Underworld, Prologue/Quint in The Turn of the Screw, and Apollo/Pastore/Spirit in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo. Fearghal is looking forward to going on tour with Opera Theatre Company as chorus in their upcoming production of La Boheme. He is an alumni of the Associate Young Artist Programme with Opera Theatre Company. He was a recipient of The Opera International Awards bursary in 2015.

Jacob Bettinelli - Barytone


Jacob is currently studying for his Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal College of Music with Tim Evans-Jones and Andrew Robinson. He recently made his operatic debut in Hong Kong as ‘Masetto’ in Don Giovanni. His first London professional appearance was as ‘Uberto’ in La Serva Padrona, at Wilton’s Music Hall. He has also recorded the baritone solo for a BBC2 TV documentary The story of China. Future engagements include his Italian debut with Schubert’s Messa in Sol in Treviso and Rovigo, Italy, a recital for the Beethoven Summer Festival 2016 at the Regent Hall, and a concert for the Talent Unlimited Music Futures Festival at the Asia House.

Samuel Oram


Award winning British baritone Samuel Oram has been acclaimed for singing “with fire and gusto” (Margaret MacDonald, Mario Lanza Competition, 2013) and for his"...masterful breadth of line" (David Nice). He recently appeared as Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Marquis de la Force (Dialogues des Carmelites), Demetrius (A Midsummer Nights Dream), Simone (Gianni Schicchi), Strephon (Iolanthe), and Balstrode (Peter Grimes). In addition to his busy operatic schedule, he has recently performed with the choruses of Opera North (Götterdämmerung), Dorset Opera (Cav & Pag), CBSO Male Chorus (Tristan und Isolde), and the British Youth Opera (Paul Bunyan). Samuel has been commended on "...captur[ing] all the youthful exuberance and subversive intent of the author's text" (Loughborough Endowed School Report).
